Shopping

There are stores at St Lawrence 25 klms to the south or at Carmila 40 klms to the north. A wide range of shopping and services is available from Sarina 100 klms to the north.

Local

Mechanical and engineering services are available locally by excellent tradesmen.

Delivery Services are available daily from the proprietor of the St Lawrence Post Office. The service carries parcels from 20 kg to 8 tonnes.

The Greyhound Bus Service stops at the Kalarka Roadhouse 5 klms from the properties.

Medical

Ambulance services are provided at both Carmila and St Lawrence.

The Sarina hospital is locatd at 1 Hospital Street, Sarina.

School

The Carmila State School is located at Carmila, approximately 45kms from Tallawalah’s main gate.  A free bus service is offered.

The Properties are blessed by the occupation of distinctive fauna.  Apart from Kangaroos and Wallabies of many types, along with Magpies, Butcher Birds, Storm Birds, Wedge-tail Eagles, Parrots and Grass Birds we are constantly delighted by the company of many other wonderful animals including:
